Here you can experience one of the best views in the Luberon from the beautifully light living area.
The accommodation is a self-catering apartment which forms part of our traditional stone house. There is one king-size bed (or two singles) though a sofa bed is also available. The living area has a dining table and chairs, sofa and armchairs. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped (including electric oven and hob, fridge and dishwasher). We can introduce you to our local grower of organic vegetables as well as the local shops and famous French markets.
Our craftsmen have used recycled materials and a neutral colour scheme. Centennial oak beams were used to make up the kitchen surfaces. Works by local artists decorate the walls.
The bathroom tiles are reclaimed terracotta. The wc is a Scandinavian design to reduce water usage. The shower uses a specific system to provide a “rain shower” feel with a reduced water flow. The bed mattress is made locally by Ardelaine, a cooperative that raises sheep and hand-makes mattresses using the wool. Bed linen and towels are made from organically grown cotton.
A large round table outside is a perfect place to enjoy breakfast on the calade. On the drystone "hanging" terraces you can enjoy the evening light in the leafy surrounds of the indigenous oak trees and the polyphonic birdsong.
